Chevy Fast Burn 385 Turn-Key - With aluminum heads

Featuring Fast Burn cylinder heads, the 385 Turn Key version is a great way to go for most performance enthusiasts. The engine is built for the demands of a hungry small block engine. It sports an aggressive cam to push those high flow valves. This engine is built on the ZZ4 block and includes everything you need - Just hook it up to some power and gas, and you're in business!

With 385 horsepower and 385 lb.-ft. of torque, the Fast Burn 385 turn-Key is all ZZ4 long block with forged steel crankshaft, hypereutectic pistons and hydraulic roller camshaft. GM Performance Parts Fast Burn cylinder heads allow the ZZ4 short block to inhale and exhale more air and fuel than ever. Fast Burn combustion chamber design maximizes the burning efficiency of the air/fuel mixture more quickly and completely—resulting in an impressive increase in power.

This engine comes with an cast iron water pump, damper, aluminum dual-plane intake manifold, HEI distributor and flexplate. It also includes an accessory drive package with serpengine setup, fuel pump, chrome air cleaner kit, Holley 750 cfm carburetor, starter and set of spark plug wires.

Installation Notes

  • NOTE: Distributor with melonized steel gear MUST be used with long blocks and partial engines with steel camshafts, or engine damage will occur.
  • Comes with 12.75" externally balanced automatic transmission flexplate; change to externally balanced flywheel for manual transmission applications. See chart on page 171.
  • Intended for pre-1977 street vehicles or all off-road vehicles.
  • Not intended for marine use.
  • Requires fuel line from fuel pump to carburetor.
  • Fuel pump pressure is pre-set, fuel pressure regulator not required.
