Chevy ZZ502 Deluxe Kit
This is a kit that you have to assemble. The ZZ502 is available as an assembled engine.
We know some of you like to put your own engines together. GM Performance put the kit together with quality parts to deliver an engine with 502 horsepower (one horsepower per cubic inch) and 567 lb.-ft. of torque. You know what you're building, because GMP dynoed this engine to make sure! It's a big block kit that you'll be proud to run in your car!
The ZZ502 deluxe kit starts with the base engine kit. GMP adds a Holley 850 cfm 4 barrel carb, starter, distributor, plug wires and water pump. When you build it and fire it for the first time, you'll be glad you went with a GM Performance engine package.
NOTE: Intended for pre-1977 street vehicles and all off-road vehicles. Not intended for marine use.

Installation Notes
- NOTE: Distributor with melonized steel gear MUST be used with long blocks and partial engines with steel camshafts, or engine damage will occur. GMPP distributor P/N 93440806 is recommended.
- This is a kit and comes in pieces. You must install heads, valve covers, intake, carburetor, water pump, distributor etc.
- Intended for pre-1977 street vehicles or all off-road vehicles.
- Not intended for marine applications.
